How to Install qchat software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

qchat software package provides crossplatform LAN chat written using Qt4, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install qchat

qchat is installed in your system.

Make ensure the qchat package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qchat *

You will get with qchat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
